Rome, April 28th, 2025 – On Sunday, April 27th, the Caffarella Park hosted a vibrant event celebrating sport, culture, and outdoor wellness, marking the launch of the 2nd edition of the Rome Half Marathon, organized by RomaOstia and RCS Sports & Events.

To bring people of all ages together—from the youngest to the oldest—the athlete training session was enriched with a program tailored for those who prefer a non-competitive way to stay active.

In collaboration with the Humus Association and as part of the Longevity Run initiative, participants were welcomed to the beautiful setting of Caffarella Park, where they could choose to run or walk along a 5 km (1 lap) or 10 km (2 laps) route, starting at 10:00 AM.

Activities also included:

• Athletics lesson for children

• Guided bike tour by reservation

• Guided walking tour

Also on-site was the medical team from Policlinico A. Gemelli, offering free health checkups as part of the Longevity Run project.
