The journey of prevention continues
Longevity is not a gift of nature but is conquered step by step, just as one conquers the finish line at the end of a race.
This is why the doctors of the Policlinico A. Gemelli and the researchers of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore have set up the ‘Longevity Run’ project in order to raise awareness of healthy lifestyles and encourage cardiovascular prevention.
The 2025 edition of the Longevity Run is enriched with new stages to promote movement and prevention in more and more territories. The event, created to raise awareness on active and healthy ageing, offers a concrete experience thanks to an innovative and customised training method based on the European SPRINTT protocol.
After passing through various locations in Italy, the tour will end on 19 October in Rome, as part of the Rome Half Marathon.
Two days, one goal: to live better for longer
- Longevity Village (Day 1): a moment dedicated to health, prevention and discussion with experts on the theme of longevity.
- Longevity Run (Day 2): a collective run or walk, open to all ages and levels, dedicated to wellness and physical activity.
Rome: the special stage
In Rome, the Longevity Run will be flanked by a series of free itinerant workouts, in the city’s parks and villas, dedicated to those who wish to prepare for the 21 km, 5 km or half marathon relay.
Participants will be followed by certified trainers in running and fitwalking, to arrive ready for the October appointment.
