The Dog Run returns on Saturday, October 18, 2025: a 1.3 km non-competitive run dedicated to pets and pet parents, designed to share a special moment together. Part of the Wizz Air Rome Half Marathon program and powered by Arcaplanet, the event offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy quality time with your pet while engaging in outdoor physical activity.
The Route *
The 2025 Dog Run route begins in a truly unique setting: set against the backdrop of the Colosseum, one of the world’s most iconic landmarks, with the Arch of Constantine just behind. From here, pets and pet parents will make their way through Piazza di Porta Capena, passing near the Circus Maximus, before heading down Viale delle Terme di Caracalla. The finish line awaits at the historic Nando Martellini Stadium, a green oasis and a symbol of Roman sport.
For those who wish to extend the experience, it’s possible to add a lap around the “Biscotto,” the green loop surrounding the area, before crossing the final finish line inside the stadium.

Bib Numbers & Race Kit
By registering for the Dog Run, participants will receive:
- Pet bib number;
- Pet parent bib number;
- Race kit bag with goodies offered by Arcaplanet, Purina and Kippy;
- Official event t-shirt.
Bib numbers and race kits can be collected on October 16 and 17 at the Arcaplanet Dog Run stand in the Eataly Roma Ostiense village, and on Saturday, October 18 at the Terme di Caracalla Village.
