The Dog Run: a 1.3 km non-competitive run dedicated to pets and pet parents, designed to share a special moment together. Part of the Wizz Air Rome Half Marathon program and powered by Arcaplanet, the event offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy quality time with your pet while engaging in outdoor physical activity.
The Route 2025
The 2025 Dog Run route begins in a truly unique setting: set against the backdrop of the Colosseo, one of the world’s most iconic landmarks, with the Arco di Costantino just behind. From here, pets and pet parents will make their way through Piazza di Porta Capena, passing near the Circo Massimo, before heading down Viale delle Terme di Caracalla. The finish line awaits at the historic Nando Martellini Stadium, a green oasis and a symbol of Roman sport.
For those who wish to extend the experience, it’s possible to add a lap around the “Biscotto,” the green loop surrounding the area, before crossing the final finish line inside the stadium.
