Milan, 22 July 2026 – The jersey dedicated to the participants of the Wizz Air Rome Half Marathon by Brooks 2026 has been unveiled. The race, scheduled for next 18 October, is organized by RomaOstia and RCS Sports & Events for Roma Capitale.
The jersey is produced by Presenting Sponsor and Official Technical Partner Brooks Running, with a design that blends comfort, performance and history. On the back, the emblem of the Eternal City—the Capitoline Wolf—is graphically represented. Its meaning is rooted in the legend of Rome’s origins and symbolizes strength, the birth of civilization, and divine protection over the city. The model is enriched with elements in Wizz Pink Air, the distinctive color of the title sponsor of Italy’s most participated half marathon. A choice that makes the 2026 edition jersey a true icon for all runners of this 21‑kilometre race.
Brooks Running, a leading company in high‑performance running footwear and apparel, will provide technical support and outfitting for the event, as well as activate a training program to prepare runners for the race through training plans, social runs and dedicated activations.

SOLD OUT REGISTRATIONS AND THE CHARITY PROGRAM OF THE WIZZ AIR ROME HALF MARATHON BY BROOKS
Three months before race day, the Wizz Air Rome Half Marathon by Brooks records a new milestone: close to 40,000 registered participants, almost double last year’s 22,000. Numbers that place it among the most participated half marathons in Europe and worldwide.
The last chance to be on the start line on 18 October is to secure one of the 1,000 charity bibs made available by the eight official organizations participating in the Charity Program, included for the first time in the event.
Running enthusiasts still have time to join the race by combining sport with solidarity, thanks to the fundraising activated by the event’s non‑profit partners: Fondazione Bambino Gesù ETS, Sport Senza Frontiere, Comitato Italiano per l’UNICEF – Fondazione ETS, Fondazione Italiana Diabete, Comunità di Sant’Egidio, Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Agostino Gemelli IRCCS, PlayMore! with RunChallenge, and Libera Nantes ADS.
Alessandro Onorato, Councillor for Major Events, Sport, Tourism and Fashion: “At three months from the start, the Rome Half Marathon is sold out with nearly 40,000 registered runners: +68% compared to last year’s edition. The number of women stands out—more than half (19,230)—and so does the number of international participants, who represent 80%, 14,000 more than last October. Registrations have more than doubled from Germany (+148%), Poland (+146%), Spain (+131%) and the United Kingdom (+122%). We are also pleased with the growth from the United States (+11%), Brazil (+23%), Mexico (+24%) and Argentina (+20%), while Australia and New Zealand together will bring over 181 people. Those arriving from other continents will extend their stay in the city, generating further economic and employment benefits. Now in its third edition, the Rome Half Marathon is already one of the most important in the world. We are proud that the challenge we launched has been won, and I thank the organizers for their great work. It will be a multi‑day celebration with enormous social, economic and charitable impact for the territory.”
On the event website, a waiting list has been created to allow participation in case of withdrawals. Those who free their spot will allow others to run, provided the registration process is completed within 48 hours of receiving the email sent through the digital system.
Alongside the competitive half marathon, as in previous years, the Longevity Run presented by Altograno will also take place, in collaboration with Policlinico A. Gemelli and researchers from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. The non‑competitive run, open to everyone, is scheduled for Saturday 17 October and will take place along a central 5‑kilometre route.
